Privacy Policy

The Signal Office is operated by Proof of Press LLC. This page describes what data is collected on this site, why, and how it is handled.

What is collected

The booking form on this site sends only the fields you submit: name, company, role, company website, email, WhatsApp number, whether you already run a newsletter, audience size, objective, preferred cadence, and any message you add. Draft notes or page interactions are not stored by the site unless you submit the form.

When you submit a request, the form fields you provided are processed for the purpose of scheduling and preparing for a discovery meeting. No data is sold or shared with marketing networks from third parties.

POPIA

The Signal Office processes personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). By submitting the booking form you consent to The Signal Office processing the information you provide for the purpose of scheduling and preparing for a discovery meeting. You may withdraw consent, or request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, at any time by emailing hello@thesignaloffice.com.

When the Meta Pixel is enabled on this site (gated behind an environment variable and off unless explicitly configured), it records page visits and, on the booking confirmation page, a Lead event, so that advertising performance can be measured. This is a form of automated processing you can decline by using your browser's tracking prevention settings.

Who processes your information

Your information is processed by Proof of Press LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. The service providers we use to run it are beehiiv, Slack, Notion, Cloudflare, Vercel and Proton. We keep it only for the engagement and remove it from our systems within 30 days of the engagement ending. An incident affecting your data is notified to you within 72 hours of us becoming aware of it.

California residents

California residents have the right to know what personal information we hold, to delete it, to correct it and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@thesignaloffice.com.

Visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom

Our lawful basis for processing is the steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in running this site. Transfers of your information outside the EEA rely on the contract you enter with us. Email hello@thesignaloffice.com to exercise access, correction, erasure or objection rights.

Services from third parties

Form delivery, when enabled, may use an email or workflow system. Personalization, when enabled, is delivered via RightMessage. Advertising measurement, when enabled, is delivered via the Meta Pixel. These services are gated behind environment variables and remain off when their credentials are absent.

Anonymous measurement and campaign attribution

We use Plausible Analytics to measure anonymous page visits and key actions without analytics cookies. Standard campaign parameters such as utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign may be submitted with a booking request so we can understand which outreach route led to it. We do not place private prospect research, personal scoring, or inferred characteristics in public URLs or analytics events. Analytics run on Plausible, which sets no cookies and collects no personal information.

Cookies

The site itself sets no analytics or advertising cookies. Embedded services from third parties, including the Meta Pixel when enabled, may set their own cookies.

Contact

Email hello@thesignaloffice.com for any privacy request, including data deletion.
